I have worked in the Health and related services, I took patient histories, analysing and evaluating them before writing reports that detailed my findings, a skill that is invaluable in genealogy research.
This has honed my listening and research skills, which can now be used to help you learn about your family history. Working for the NHS has also given me a firm background in respecting the privacy of the people I work with, so all information will be passed to you in confidence.
My academic qualifications include:
Post Graduate-CERT Genealogical, Palaeographic and Heraldic Studies (University of Strathclyde, Glasgow). BA (Hons) Including History and Philosophy (The Open University).
