I create carefully researched family history packages for people who want to understand where they come from and preserve their family stories for future generations. Each project is personal, and I work with you to create a meaningful record of your family’s history.
My Family History Packages
Option 1 – £400
I will research one surname as far back as the records allow, generally to the early 1800s. You will receive a full report presented in a hardback binder, together with a professionally printed family tree. Completion time is usually 4–5 weeks.
Option 2 – £700
This includes the same research as Option 1, but covers two surnames. Completion time is usually 5–6 weeks.
Option 3 – £1,100
I will research up to four surnames, following each line through the available historical records. Completion time is up to two months.
Option 4 – £1,500
This is a comprehensive package based on either your maternal or paternal line. For example, I can research your mother’s parents, grandparents, great-grandparents and great-great-grandparents — up to 31 people, probably reaching back to the early 1800s. The finished work is presented in a hardcover book with a family tree scroll and a presentation USB stick. Completion time is up to three months.
Option 5 – £2,000
This is the complete family package. Starting with you, or another chosen root person, I will research your ancestors back as far as your great-great-great-grandparents — up to 63 people. Completion time is usually 3–4 months.
Heritage Tours
If you have ancestry in South Wales and are planning a trip to your roots, I can use the historical records to identify the places connected with your family. For packages starting at £300, I can put together an itinerary and guide you around your discoveries.
Family Tree Scrolls and Keepsakes
Where appropriate, I can present your research as a beautifully made family tree scroll, tracing your lineage across four generations. I can also include a hardback family history book and a keepsake USB in a wooden box, giving you both a tangible record and a digital copy of your family’s story.
Maternal and Paternal Line Research
I offer focused research into maternal and paternal lines, reaching back through the available records. I can also investigate male lines and prepare a house history where the evidence allows. My aim is to bring together the records, places and stories that help make your family history feel real and personal.
