I don’t know where to begin to thank you for all you did for us on our amazing trip to Wales.
It was everything we could have hoped for….and more. We learned so much about the Lewis and
James Families which we could not have known without the hours of work you spent piecing together
the genealogy…..especially the very difficult-to-find information about Cyrus. As you know that story
touched me deeply.
We had a wonderful vacation and enjoyed your company, the amount of time you spent with us,
as well the Welsh history you taught us. It was wonderful!

Very knowledgeable and detail oriented. Took the time to research distant cousins DNA matches to make sure he had found the correct family. His research helped solve a long standing family mystery and has allowed me to connect with my Welsh heritage.

Mum was delighted
Question What present do you give your elderly mother who has everything? Answer. Her family history! Through Genealogy and You I contacted Mr John Colclough. After an initial meeting, during which we discussed timescale, parameters and budget, John set to work. During his research John would contact me to give updates and ask questions before continuing. Mum was absolutely delighted with John’s work, which she frequently dives into. I couldn’t have made a better choice, John was easy to work with, completed the research on time and within the budget agreed.
