OPTION 1
Research of the direct female line back 4 generations, to include where available: birth, marriage and death certificates, parish records, census returns, parish records, places lived, occupations, immigration/emigration information including passenger lists, newspapers/directories and legal records. Records provided for the client’s mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, with a minimum of 4 people reported.
This could be of interest in that possible suffrage connections could be unearthed.
A PDF report would be produced along with a relationship chart which would show the client each female ancestor linked. Plus, if DNA was to be considered, an analysis of Mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) could be provided. Clearly in this option the male line would not be reported on, nor siblings of the ancestors. In most cases, due to previous record keeping practices, the male lineage would be more readily available, making this of interest to people who have been tracing their own family tree and struggling to find matrilineal ancestors.
Estimated 10 to 15 hours, £250 to £375, plus certificates at cost, and any agreed traveling expenses.
